FOREIGN THREATS ARE THE MAJOR CAUSE WHICH LED TO THE DECLINE OF VENICE. FOREIGN THREATS COME IN MORE THAN ONE AREA. TRADE AND WAR WITH THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE AND LEAGUE OF COMBRAI SIGNIFICANTLY DIVERTED VENICE OF ITS FOCUS ON CONTROLLONG TRADE AND ITS COUNTRY'S CONDITION. INSTEAD IT HAD TO THROW ALL ITS ATTENTION INTO IMPROVING ITS MILITARY, HIRING MERCENARIES AND ALSO COPE WITH ITS DWINDLING ECONOMY DUE TO ITS LACK OF FOCUS IN ITS TRADE.

Foreign threats is the major cause of the decline of Venice as compared to Political threats. External threats makes Venice ina vulnerable position. If it has been attacked by other nations, it means that the Economy of Venice would be controlled by others. This means that Venice will be unable to prosper, which in turn will lead to the downfall of Venice. Furthermore, Political challenges is an internal affair. Even though if Venice had a stable government without Political uncertainties, it would still fall due to foreign threats. Thus, foreign threats is the main reason for the fall of Venice.

Foreign threats is the major cause of the decline of Venice rather than political challenges.Wars from external forces disrupts Venice's control over trade and their economy. Therefore this will lead to an economic downturn and leave Venice in a bad condition.

Foreign threats is the major cause for the fall of Venice. This is because, with foreign threats, it puts Venice in a more vulnerable position and in danger of being attacked. With this, Venice's economy will suffer a downfall as Venice's attention will be directed to other areas such as building and imporving its military to fight against the threats, and thus the focus of maintaining it's economy is lesser. Also, the political threats is an internal affair where even with it's existence, the government can still manage and the economy can still continue to prosper. However, with foreign threats, Venice's economy in which are mostly obtained via trade, are in danger of being controlled by other countries. Therefore, the foreign threats is the main cause for the fall of Venice.

Political threats are the major cause as the government is the foundation of a country's success or failure. When a government of a country is corrupted, it is the same as a building having a weak foundation, which will collapse when any disaster strikes. Likewise the fall of Venice is due to a corrupted government, which then is not able to handle internal or external threats, such as foreign threats, which in the end cause Venice to fall.

Foreign threats is the the major cause in the decline of Venice as compared to political challenges. Foreign threats put the country's economy at risk as many of the aims will be directed to defend it's country from attacks from other countries and this will result in a huge decline in the economy of Venice. Incapable leadership and corruption within the government challenges the political stability in Venice but this is not the main cause of the fall of Venice. Even with bad leadership from the government, Venice would not completely fall. But because of foreign threats,Venice's economy declined greatly, hence bring Venice to a fall.

Foreign threats is the major cause in the decline of Venice as threats from external forces would put Venice's safety and also economy at risk. This in turn would not let Venice prosper and to develope as an independent country as the external threats are the one who are controlling Venice. In addition, forein threats would also lead to a corruption in the government as there is a downfall in the economy. Hence, forein threats is the major cause which led to the decline of Venice.

I agree that foreign threats was responsible for the decline of Venice but only to a certain extent, because i believe that political challenges contributed more in the fall of th city-state. If there is political challenges in the government, citizens of the country will feel that the government is unstable and is incapable of leading the nation. The people will lose their support for their leaders, and these political instability will affect economic development. Thus, trade and economy will be affected. This will make Venice vulnerable. If the government is able to handle its political challenges well, they would also be able to handle other challenges like foreign threats in a more capable way.

In conclusion, foreign threats was the main cause in the decline of Venice. Threats from external forces has an impact on Venice as these external forces are usually bigger, stronger and more powerful countries. This would disrupt the countrie's activities and cause instability within the country. This may lead to the fall of Venice. Also, with these threats, Venice's sovereignity as a country is threatened as other countries would try to mediate and help. Therefore, threats from external forces is the main cause of the fall of Venice.

Muzzammil - You have not weight in your conclusion. Need to show why foreign threat was more important than political challenges.
Haidhar - The idea is there, for example, 'Even though if Venice had a stable government without Political uncertainties, it would still fall due to foreign threats'. But you need to elaborate on this point otherwise it is only a statement.
Sunil - It is good you have made the connection to trade and the economy but what about the link to political challenges???
Nurul'Ain - similar with Sunil for example, 'government can still manage and the economy can still continue to prosper'. But you need to elaborate on this point to show why foreign threats can affect political challenges.
Faz - Good and straight to the point especially the part,'fall of Venice is due to a corrupted government, which then is not able to handle internal or external threats'
Enqi - the structure is there but need to elaborate on this point, 'Venice would not completely fall' to show why foreign threats is more important than political challenges

Razis - I like this link,'foreign threats would also lead to a corruption in the government as there is a downfall in the economy'.BUT you need to elaborate so that the reasons are clear.
Syahilah - Please do not use the phrase 'to a certain extent'. Otherwise your conclusion is very good and to the point.
Nana - Again avoid the phrase 'certain extent'. The reason is you will make statements like,'agree that foreign threats was responsible for the decline of Venice but only to a certain extent, because i believe that political challenges contributed more in the fall of th city-state.' As result, your stand is not clear...
Zuriati - Your stand is clear but you need to show why foreign threats was more important than political challenges.
Thank you again for your contribution
